Legal if they are your photos or you have permission from whoever owns them. If you took the photos of your own listing, you can use them freely. If a photographer, previous owner, or property manager supplied them, you need their permission. Airbnb hosting a photo does not give you rights to it.
Your own listing, your own photos
If you photographed your property yourself, you own the copyright and can use the images however you like. This covers the large majority of Airbnb hosts, who shot their own listing on a phone.
Photos you did not take
Commissioned photography follows the same rules as any other real estate photography: the photographer holds the copyright unless the agreement says otherwise, and your license defines what you may do. Photos supplied by a previous owner, a co-host, or a management company are theirs, not yours, and uploading them to Airbnb did not change that.
Photos of a property you do not control
Taking images from someone else's Airbnb listing is straightforward copyright infringement, and it also breaches Airbnb's terms of service. There is no version of this that is acceptable, including for a sample or a pitch.
Guests and privacy
Separately from copyright, do not publish images that show guests, their belongings, or anything that identifies them. Photograph the property empty and staged.
